“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

Most of us enjoy sports. We enjoy playing and watching sports. I grew up playing multiple sports. Pictured are some of the sports I have played and enjoy. My wife would be embarrassed for me to admit that I played (and enjoyed greatly) badminton and volleyball in high school. Yes, these are both competitive sports for boys/men where I grew up.

Both individual and team sports are a great way for children to learn cooperation, patience, importance of winning and losing, and dedication. Playing sports is obviously good for physical and mental well being. The CDC recommends 150 minutes of physical activity per week for adults and 60 minuted per day for children. That sounds like a lot! Sports are a fun way to get this activity into your life.
