Calling all Nerds

Yes, I am the first to admit it, We are all big Harry Potter nerds in our family. We all love Harry Potter. Before my wife dared me read the books, I was one of its biggest critic. I would constantly make fun of them for being Potterheads. After finishing the first book, I had to swallow some pride and ask where she was keeping book 2. I am not an avid reader (like my wife), but did not long to finish the entire series. Every member of our family has read the series. We have “sorted” ourselves into Hogwarts Houses and proudly wear our colors. We have taken vacations specifically to visit Universal Studios to delve into Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. Make sure to check out our blog on Universal studios.

Where Do You Belong?

Hufflepuff: the most inclusive among the four houses; valuing hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty, and fair play rather than a particular aptitude in its students. Hufflepuffs are known to have a strong moral code, and a sense of right and wrong. Hufflepuffs are usually accepting of everyone.

Gryffindor: this house emphasises the traits of courage as well as "daring, nerve, and chivalry," and thus its members are generally regarded as brave, though sometimes to the point of recklessness. Some Gryffindors have also been noted to be short-tempered.

Ravenclaw: possess the traits of cleverness, wisdom, wit, intellectual ability and creativity. They are known for their individuality, quirkiness, and acceptance of people and things that others would consider weird.

Slytherins: tend to be ambitious, shrewd, cunning, strong leaders, and achievement-oriented. They also have highly developed senses of self-preservation. This means that Slytherins tend to hesitate before acting, so as to weigh all possible outcomes before deciding exactly what should be done.
